MANAGEMENT
1. The management of North Shields Polytechnic (the Association) shall be undertaken by the Management Committee which shall be responsible to the club via the Annual General Meeting
2. The Management Committee shall meet a minimum of four times per annum.
3. The duties and responsibilities of the Management Committee shall include:
- ensuring the sound management of the Association
- the preparation of a forward plan setting out the Associations policies and future plans as a basis for grant applications and for the information of Members
- working with outside businesses and Local Authorities to gain recognition and support for the work of the Association within the community
- The composition of the Management Committee shall be:
- President
- Chairman
- Secretary
- Membership Secretary
- Treasurer
- Grants and Publicity
- Coaching Coordinator
- Senior Ladies Representative
- Senior Mens Representative
- Junior Athletes Representative
- Race/Meetings Organiser
5. That prior to any business at the Annual General Meeting, the names of all North Shields Polytechnic Club members who fell in the Great War and World War II be read at such meeting.
